Monkey Colour Mystery

 

Why are baby monkeys sometimes a totally different colour from their parents?


This summer holiday, join Swansea University researchers at Oriel Science to explore how and why these colourful differences might help baby primates survive in the wild.

Through fact-sharing, games, and hands-on activities, curious minds of all ages will try to untangle the mystery of baby monkey colour and help scientists test out exciting new ways of learning!

Come along to Oriel Science for a short and fun talk about sharks that live around the UK. Find out what makes them special, see real shark egg cases (some found on Swansea beach!), and learn why it's important to protect these amazing animals.

 

Dr Jack Cooper from Sharks4kids will be at Oriel Science delivering this hands-on talk.
